⚠ The bootstrap installer is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen will warn you the first time. Click “More info” then “Run anyway”. It installs Probe's trusted certificate, so every future release installs and auto-updates silently.
Run ProbeBootstrap.exe — accept the UAC prompt
→ If Windows SmartScreen appears, click “More info” then “Run anyway”
Wait for the installer to finish — it first trusts the Probe root certificate, then installs the app silently
Allow firewall access when Windows prompts, for both private and public networks
The proxy starts automatically on launch and configures your system proxy. You'll see your IP and port in the app toolbar.
Future updates download and install silently in the background via the built-in auto-update.
